TAHLEQUAH – Beulah Pack, daughter of George and Melvina (Hammons) Davis, was born Aug. 1, 1920 in Noel, Mo. She departed this life to be with our Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at her home in Hungry Mountain Community at the age of 88 years, 4 months and 30 days. Beulah was united in marriage to Ben Pack on Oct. 18, 1938, in Stillwell. She loved working in the yard, gardening, going to church, visiting with neighbors and family on the phone and taking pictures of them, cooking, quilting, sewing, fishing and camping.Beulah attended the Cookson Hills Senior Citizen Center, the Indian Day School and was a member of The Church of God in Keys.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers, Jim, Louie, Robert, George, Archie and Doug; two sisters: Mary and Stella Pack.Beulah is survived by one sister Becky Shepherd of Welling; three special friends, Donna Stewart, Joy Faye Fountain and Darlene Rill; several nieces and nephews, and many other friends and loved ones.Visitation time for Beulah will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Friday at Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel.Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Duvall and Rev. Jerry Capps officiating.Burial will follow at Caney Cemetery under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
