Larry Lee Matlock, the son of Jerry and Janice (Paden) Matlock, was born August 27, 1979 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed his life on February 14, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 39 years, 5 months and 18 days.

Larry enjoyed life and loved his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time in the outdoors. He was a huge sports fan and he loved Cardinals Baseball. He loved his children and he enjoyed spending time with his family. Larry touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents J.C. Paden, Louise Smith, and Orville Lee Matlock; and his great-grandmother Anna Thurber.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his parents Jerry and Janice Matlock of Tahlequah; his children Hunter Lee Matlock and Fisher Michael Matlock of Tulsa; his grandmother Katherine Paden of Tahlequah; his brothers Jerry Lee Matlock of Tahlequah and Jimmy Lee Matlock and wife Khirsty of Cookson; and his sisters Jeri Lynn Bird and husband Michael of Stilwell and Jenny Crew of Tulsa. Many friends and other relatives also survive him.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Caney Cemetery with Bro. Justin Davis officiating. Final arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home.
