Valita (Robinson) Randolph
May 21, 1946 - Oct 25, 2021
Posted by Linda Robinson

Valita Robinson Randolph passed away on October 25th 2021 in Dallas, Texas after a brief fight with pancreatic cancer.

She was born to Wayne Elmer Robinson and Esther Susie Harrell on May 21, 1946 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was given the name Valita Sue Robinson at the time of her birth, but later had it legally changed. Growing up, she lived in Ardmore, Oklahoma; Springfield, Colorado; Oakley, California; and Oakland, California. Valita attended schools in and around Oakland, California, and graduated from Harry Ells High School in Richmond in 1964. She attended Diablo Valley Junior College in Concord, California for two years, plus evening classes, and finally applied for her diploma in 1980 and received her AA degree with Honors.  She went to work for Shell Development Company in Emeryville in 1967, and worked there for five years. Valita married Robert Allen Kreiss on April 2, 1977, in Portola Valley, California. They lived in Portola Valley and then moved to New York City, where Bob taught at Yeshiva University's Cardozo Law School.  Valita attended Rutgers College, graduated from Rutgers College in 1980, and started law school at Hofstra Law School in Hempstead, New York.  Valita and Bob moved to Seattle and lived there for six years. They worked at Feinstein McAulay & Bartlett Law firm. In 1989 they moved to Dayton, Ohio where Bob taught at University of Dayton Law School and Valita worked for the Court of Appeals. Valita and Bob loved cats and had several of them. They loved to travel and work on the family tree. They found lots of information in courthouses and cemeteries around the country as they traveled. Valita and Bob were divorced in 1993.  Valita changed her name to Valita Robinson Randolph in 1994 and she remained in Dayton.

About ten years ago, Valita joined a Dallas- based missionary team of Christians called “Time to Revive”. After attending a Revive Indiana event in 2015, God told her it was time to move to Dallas, Texas – where she became an integral part of Time to Revive, traveling from city to city and coast to coast sharing the gospel everywhere.  Her commitment to preaching the Good News, serving and witnessing to anyone and everyone she came in contact with gave her great joy!   The first thing she would ask someone in any initial encounter was “how can I pray for you?”  Even in the Hospice hospital a couple of days before she died, she asked her family to bring some Revive Bibles, because she still had many people she needed to witness to.   She loved the Lord and has been one of God’s most avid prayer warriors.  Now she is in heaven with her God and Savior.

She is survived by her brother, Loren Robinson and sister-in-law Linda Robinson of Brentwood, California; niece Julie Andereggen and her husband James of Oakley, California; nephew Eric Robinson and his wife Susanne of Manteca, California; 9 grand nieces and nephews, and 3 great grand niece and nephews.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm CST on November 2, 2021 at the Time to Revive headquarters, 660 International Parkway Suite 140, Richardson, Texas.

It will also be shown on Zoom where you can attend at this website https://us06web.zoom.us/j/81429166555?pwd=Zmw1d3lBVHNRWFBBcEVBWVIwdTdzQT09 pass code 785902, so the many people whose lives she touched all over the United States will be able to join in the celebration too.

Lunch will be provided for the family and close friends at 11:45 am CST on Tuesday, November 2, at the Time to Revive office. Since Valita’s passion for sharing the Gospel was much stronger than her love of flowers, her family has asked that instead of flowers, people are welcome to make a donation to Time to Revive.

Later, she will be buried by her family at Wilson Creek Cemetery near Ardmore, Oklahoma, as she requested near her mother and grandparents .

Thank you,

Linda Robinson
