Services for Paul “BoDink” DeHaven, 64, were Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Harvey-Douglas Chapel, Ardmore, conducted by Dr. Alton Fannin, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Ardmore.

Born March 25, 1929, at Krebs, Mr. DeHaven died July 13, 1993, from injuries received in a tractor accident. He was the son of Paul Lewis and Elva Partain DeHaven.

Mr. DeHaven had lived in Love County for one month, moving here from Ardmore. He married Margaret Gardner August 30, 1990, at Gainesville, Texas. Mr. DeHaven was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Memorial Christian Church and the Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret DeHaven of the home, Route 1, Marietta; two sons, Scott DeHaven and Steve DeHaven of Ardmore; two daughters, Susan Hart and Paula Colbert of Ardmore; three step-sons, Charles Mathews of Staton Island, New York, David Mathews of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Scott Mathews of San Antonio, Texas; a step-daughter, Donna Steudeman of Ardmore; his mother, Elva DeHaven of Ardmore; a sister, Pauline E. DeHaven of Ardmore; four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

Services were under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore.

Serving as casket bearers were Joe Croskell, J.W. Banks, Jim Goins, James Steudeman, David Smith and Don McGuire. Honorary bearers were Bob Cross, Enoch Watterson and Joe Martin.
