Interment followed at the Provence Cemetery.

Born December 17, 1976 in Ardmore, the daughter of Ronnie Clough and Mrs. Judy (Shockley) Clough, she died Sunday, August 15, 2010 in Marietta.

She married Johnny Clinton in 2003 in the beautiful state of Virginia.

She attended Thackerville Public Schools and enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Clinton was preceded in death by her grandpa Lloyd Clough, grandma Susie Clough, grandpa Ethan Clough, grandpa Luther Wilkins, grandma Anna Wilkins and a cousin Mark Elmore Cryer.

Shannon is survived by her parents, Judy and Ronnie Clough of Thackerville; two daughters, Alyssa Clough and Casie Acosta; a son, Sebastian Acosta; two sisters and brother-in-law, Shelly Clough Blanton and Harry “Bubba” Blanton, and Misti Clough; a brother, Bo Clough; two grandmothers, Beatrice Wilson of Marietta and Mamie Shockley of Ardmore; grandfather, Dusty Shockley of New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Harry “Bubba” Blanton, Larry “Byrd” Latimer, Sam Elmore, Levi Gilliam , Obie Blanton and Bo Clough. Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to Love County Health Center Foundation, Inc., 300 Wanda, Marietta, OK 73448.
