Mollie JoAnne Parker, 73 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Friday,
December 12, 2008 at the Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore.
JoAnne was born on January 26, 1935 in McMillan, Oklahoma to the
late R. L. Godfrey and Mattie Burns Godfrey.
She was raised and
lived her entire life in Marshall County. She worked as a
teacher in Perkins, Oklahoma and Pre-school in Jacksonville, Flordia. She married Wilson Parker Sr. on February 12, 1993 in
Madill. JoAnne enjoyed working with her hands making Native
American crafts. She was a life time member of the Marshall
County Geneology and Historian Society and the Museum of
Southern Oklahoma. JoAnne attended the Oakview Baptist Church
and she enjoyed telling people about Jesus.
JoAnne is survived by:
Husband: Wilson Parker Sr., Madill, Oklahoma
Daughters: Teresa Spalding, Texas
Laura Ladner, Maliysia
9 Grandchildren
Many nieces and nephews
Sisters: Dazel Ball, San Antonio, Texas
Santa Ann McWilliams, Muskogee, Oklahoma
Brother: Robert Lee Godfrey, Shay, Oklahoma
JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son; Robert
Wayland Klein.
