Services for Cornelia Lucille Dill, 87, of Healdton were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 23 at the First Baptist Church in Healdton with Pastor Tommy Higle officiating. Burial followed at Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton. 

Lucille was born July 17, 1928 in Webber, Kansas to Monte Fay and Margaret Lane Harding. She passed from this life Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Lake Country Nursing Center, Marietta.

Lucille grew up in Lyons, Kansas where she graduated from high school. She met Harry Dill while working at a drug store. They were married May 3, 1947 in Lyons, making their home in Hoisington, Kansas until 1966 when Harry, working for Conoco, was transferred to Healdton. She cut hair for a couple of years before going to work at Eck Drug, retiring in 1984.

They wintered in Brownsville, Texas and came back to Healdton in the summer. She liked to sew and crochet and going to flea markets. She loved taking care of her grandchildren, teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Healdton for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband d Harry of Lake Country Nursing Center; one son Gary Dill and wife Elizabeth of Burneyville; daughter Carolyn Shand of Sand Springs; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
