LONE GROVE Services for Walter Douglas Grounds, 84, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Morgan Ashworth and pastor Jim Duck officiating.

Interment will be at McAlister Cemetery, Overbrook.

Born on May 21, 1923 in Ardmore, he passed away there on Feb. 7, 2008.
 
He was preceded in death by his parent, siblings, a granddaughter and great-granddaughter.
 
He and Faye Elmore were married on Sept. 14, 1946, in Texas.

Note: Walter was a TEC5 in the US Army Air Forces during WW II 
flag
