Mr. Kyle was born April 15, 1912, in Ardmore, the son of Arthur and Abby Hanna Kyle, and died December 11, 1994, in an Ardmore hospital following an extended illness.
He married the former Shirley Landrum in 1943 in Ardmore. Mr. Kyle served in the Army during World War II and was a salesman for McKesson Chemical Company in Odessa, Texas, before his retirement. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include a sister, Janet Kyle of McKinney, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kyle was preceded in death by his wife on January 3, 1989.
Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, with Tom Brandt, William Paul, George, Bill, James and Jerry Landrum serving as pallbearers.
Services were directed by Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice.
