Barbara Ann (Johns) Langley was born July 14, 1946 in Bethany, Missouri to Melvin and Nettie Jo Johns and passed away peacefully March 6, 2023 surrounded by her family in Thomas, Oklahoma.

Barbara graduated from El Reno High School in 1964. She married the love of her life David Langley on March 14, 1964 and together the two of them shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Barbara was a homemaker for most of her life. She was also a cook at Maple School and watched many children in her home and quilted for many years. Barbara enjoyed sewing, putting together puzzles and cooking for her family. She will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband David Langley, father Melvin Johns and mother and dad Nettie Jo and FA Brittain and in – laws Alton and Alma Langley, sister Nettie Mulanex, and brothers Steve Johns and Willbur Johns

She is survived by her brother David Brittain and wife Lisa, of El Reno OK, children Annette Hurley of Calumet OK, Christine Pomaville and husband Roger, of Thomas OK, Tim Langley of Oklahoma City, and Jeff Langley and wife Natalya, of Calumet OK; grandchildren Stephanie Harper and husband Brad, of Charlotte NC, Sean Wagner and wife Erin, of Charlotte NC, Alicia Wagner of El Reno OK, and Scott Wagner of Chester OK, Delorean Langley of Geary OK, Cheyenne Langley of Cashion OK, Cierra Kramer and husband Zac, of Cresent OK, Elijah Pomaville of Thomas OK, and Liam Langley and Cole Langley of Calumet OK, and numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to honor the life of Barbara will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday March 10 at the Red Rock United Methodist Church. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
