Ronald Carl Hopkins was born October 24, 1938, in Ada, OK and went to Heaven on February 27, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK after a brief illness.

He was the beloved son of Bernie and Virginia (Arnold) Hopkins. He was a 1957 graduate of Calumet High School and a graduate of Central State University (now UCO). Ronald was a lifelong farmer and owner of Cedar Slope Dairy. He was very involved with the Association of Milk Producers, Inc. and a lifelong member or Red Rock United Methodist Church. As the family historian, he regaled the younger generation with stories of their ancestors.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and best friend Lucy.

He is survived by many cousins, friends and Mitzi. The family would like to thank Tom and Margie Avant, Brenda Tumelson and Roger Rinehart for their help and kindness.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ronald will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Red Rock United Methodist Church.

Burial will follow in the Red Rock Cemetery.

Come and go viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, March 3 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
