Teddy Vance Posey was born May 6, 1939, to Charles Floyd Posey and Arvada Belle Posey of Hinton Oklahoma and passed away March 6, 2023 at the age of 83 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Teddy married Kaye Watts on October 14, 1958, and from this union came three sons. Teddy served in the United States Army and was honorable discharged in 1966.

Teddy is survived by his sons, Courtney Posey and wife Doilette Posey (Chickasha), Teddy Posey and wife Wendy Posey (Moore), and Leslie Posey (OKC); brother Randy Posey and wife Margaret Posey (OKC) and sister Altha Spargur (ElReno); Grandchildren Kaletha Hightower (Moore), Heather Boyd and husband Dave Boyd (Blanchard), Austin Posey and wife Kaile Posey (Moore), Megan Posey (Atlanta Georgia) and Chase Posey (Moore); Great grandchildren, Hallie Hightower, Holden Boyd, Addy Boyd and Chloey Boyd.

He is preceded in death by Wife Kaye Posey, both parents, brothers Charles, Harold and Frank Posey.

A funeral service to honor the life of Teddy will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the El Reno Cemetery.
