Harry Wayne Headley

Harry was born January 24, 1928 in Anadarko. He died March 14, 2009 at home in Oklahoma City at 81 years of age.

He was an El Reno resident most of his life and was a veteran serving in the U. S. Army. Harry was a train master retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the First Christian Church, American Legion, Masonic Lodge and Rock Island Technology Society.

On April 19, 1947, he married Jane Lear. Jane preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Irene Lowe Headley, and a daughter, Marty Headley.

Harry is survived by - 2 daughters - Cara Zerbe of Oklahoma City & Harolynn Garrett of Omaha, NE, 2 brothers - Gerald Headley of Tulsa & Lanny Headley of Fort Worth, TX. 5 grandchildren &12 great-grandchildren

Services for Mr. Headley will be, Wednesday, March 18, 2009, 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in El Reno, OK.

Burial with military honors will follow in the El Reno Cemetery.
