Former Carnegie Woman Dies; Rites Held At Apache

Funeral services for Mrs. Bish Welch, Apache, former Carnegie resident, were held Monday afternoon in the Pentecostal Holiness church at Apache. Burial was made in the Binger cemetery.

Mrs. Welch, a resident of Caddo county since 1902, died early Saturday morning at an Anadarko hospital where she had been the past two weeks. Her husband is also critically ill in the hospital at Anadarko.

She was born June 9, 1873, in Moquoketa, Iowa. She first resided in the Gracemont and Binger communities and later in Eakly. She and her husband came to Carnegie about 22 years ago and made their home here until about five years ago when they moved to Apache.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Irma Morris, Canada; three grandchildren including David Welch of Garden City, Kansas, and Mrs. Minnie Cash, Apache; and other relatives.
