Cecil O. Sanderson
December 2, 1933 ~ January 28, 2019


Cecil Sanderson was born on December 2, 1933 in Healdton, OK to Henry Owen and Iness Gertrue [Little] Sanderson. He passed away on January 28, 2019 in Bartlesville, OK at the age of 85. Cecil was a pilot in the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam as a Major.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Iness Sanderson, his wife, Norma Lea Sanderson, and daughter in law, Cynthia Sanderson.

Survivors Include: his wife, Anna Sanderson of the home in Bartlesville, OK, his son, Don Sanderson of Ft. Worth, TX, and his daughter, Karen Milligan of Ft. Worth, TX, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services: Murray Cemetery, Saturday, 11:00 AM, April 20, 2019, Binger, OK

Cynthia Jan [Buchanan] Sanderson
January 13, 1957 ~ March 27, 2014


Cindy was born on Jan. 13, 1957, in Anadarko, Okla., to Floyd and Erma Mae Buchanan.

She graduated from Binger High School and Southwestern Oklahoma State University with degrees in elementary education [BS] and counseling [MS]. She had a passion for children. As an elementary education and Sunday school teacher she took great pride and responsibility to make certain that each child had the very best opportunity to learn, grow, and be their very best.

Cindy had vision for what could be. This vision kept her family moving forward to see all of the greatness the future had to offer. She cherished her children, family and friends, and if you were a friend of her family her unconditional love extended to you. Everything she did in life was for the love, caring, and bringing joy to others. Her selfless legacy will be carried forward through her family and friends.

Her parents and niece, Rachelle, preceded Cindy in death.

Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Don; her sons, Aaron, Keith and his wife, Courtney; grandson, Jack, all of Fort Worth; sister, Rhonda Smart and her husband, Rodney, of Moore, Okla.; her brother, Brian Buchanan and his wife, Tina, of Oney, Okla.; niece, Tiffany Golay; nephews, Rodney Smart Jr. and Tyler Buchanan.
