Oklahoma City, Oklahoma December 2015 August 26, 1935 ~ December 9, 2015 A graveside service for Nora Lopez, 82, former Clinton resident and presently of Oklahoma City, was held Saturday, December 12, 2015 in the Binger Cemetery, Binger, OK, officiated by Doyle Kinney and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Nora Irene Lopez was born August 26, 1935 to Raz John Harpole and Neomia Irene [Buchanan] Harpole in Gracemont, OK and passed away early Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in the Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Nora was raised in Binger and graduated from Binger High School in 1954. She was married to Phillip Lopez, Jr. on March 2, 1954 in Grandfield, OK. He was a career man in the military and they traveled extensively and was stationed and lived in many different locations. They made their homes in Germany, Colorado, Kansas, Georgia, and Ft. Sill, OK. She was employed with Western Electric Company and General Motors Company while living in Oklahoma City. The family moved to Clinton in 1990 where they retired. She was a member of the Baptist Faith, she enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Neomia Dawson and Kathie Lopez, a grandson, Ryan Dawson and two brothers, Bill Harpole and Jimmy Harpole. She was survived by two daughters, Pat Lopez, of New Mexico and Kristy Lopez and John Kolcun, Yukon, OK and a son Larry Lopez and wife, Michele, OKC, OK, son in law, Scott Dawson, Shawnee, OK; two sisters, Janie Smith and husband, Doyle, Arkansas and Bonnie Catlin and husband, Oscar, Anadarko, OK. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Phillip Lopez, Lauren Lopez and Kenzi Lopez and three great-grandchildren, Jessy Hutchenson, Casey Hutchenson and Cameron Lopez.
