El Reno, Oklahoma January 2018 April 24, 1932 ~ January 12, 2018 Roger Lee Hill was born April 24, 1932 to John and Erma [Mize] Hill in Wichita, KS. He passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Mercy Hospital in El Reno at the age of 85. Roger joined the US Air Force at the age of 16 serving during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Julia Allene Hindman April 22, 1955 at Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church, together they had five children and blessed with one extra. After serving 20 years and retiring from the U.S. Air Force January 17, 1968, he went to work for the Midwest City Street Department, then for the Oklahoma State Highway Department. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judy Hill of the home; children, Mike and Betty Hill of Binger, Sharon and Jimmy Hedrick of Binger, Patty and Greg Patterson of Lawton, Jimmy and Ronda Hill of Perkins, and Bambi and Billy Rogers of Edmond; grandchildren, Garrison Hill, Dalton Hill, Wesley and Amanda Hedrick, Jeffrey and Lindsey Hedrick, Jesse Scoggins, Ryan McKinnon, Heather and Dustin McGriff, Deuce Patterson, Billy and Alyssa Patterson, Andrew and Brandy Patterson, Matt and Rachelle Hill, Colton Hill, Ty Hill, and Jayden Rogers; great grandchildren, Dlain and Kayla Taylor, Hagan Hedrick, Briley Hedrick, Brecken Hedrick, Kahia Scoggins, Khamryn Scoggins, Kenlee Walker, Weston Patterson, Adalyn Patterson, Brilyn Patterson, Mila Patterson, Asher Patterson, Grace McGriff, Olivia McGriff, Nathanel McGriff, and Hudson Hill; brother, Phillip and wife Ethel Hill of Cyril; sister, Mary Hill of Square Top; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents John and Erma Hill, daughter, Karen McKinnon, and siblings, Dale Hill, Marvon Hill and Carmen Sue Hill.
