Binger Rites Held For Roy Cobbs

Funeral services for Roy Cobbs, 67, of Binger were January 15 at the Binger Baptist Church with Rev. T.L. Barnes, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in the Binger Cemetery.

Cobbs was born September 4, 1909, in Russellville, Ark. He died January 13 in the Anadarko Municipal Hospital.

A retired farmer, Cobbs came to the Binger area in 1928.

He married the former Sarah Burlison January 20, 1935.

He was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include his widow of Anadarko; two sons, Verlon of Gracemont and Orgie of Shawnee; three daughters, Mrs. Erma Chapman of Shawnee, Betty Rackley of Tulsa and Janil McCaslin of Moore; two brothers, Tommy of Oklahoma City and Harvey of Binger; two sisters, Lily Gilbreath of Muskogee and Margaret Langston of Lamont, Calif. and eight grandchildren.
