Charlene [Wilkerson] Belt
January 6, 1934 ~ February 10, 2004


Funeral services for Charlene Belt, 70, of Tuttle, Okla., will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2004, at the Assembly of God Church, Tuttle.

Charlene Belt was born January 6, 1934, and died on Tuesday, February 10, 2004. Burial will be in Binger Cemetery, Binger, Okla., under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Charlene Belt, 70, of Tuttle were held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2004 at the Tuttle Assembly of God Church.

Charlene Belt was born January 6, 1934 in Anadarko, Oklahoma the daughter of Alva and Amanda (Johnson) Wilkerson and died Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at her home in Tuttle.

Charlene graduated from Oney High School in 1952. She and Billy Ray Belt were married June 6, 1955, and he preceded her in death February 3, 1987. They moved to Tuttle in 1962. Charlene owned and operated Tuttle Cafe for 16 years.

She was currently working as a cook for the Tuttle Senior Citizens.

Charlene was also preceded in death by one daughter-in-law: Darla Jean Belt, January 8, 1989.

Survivors include two sons: Steven Ray Belt of Cogar, Mark Duane Belt and wife Brenda, of Cogar; one brother: J.B. Johnson of Noble; one sister: Mildred Leota Case of Tuttle; three grandchildren: Sonya Belt of Tuttle, April Loveless of Tuttle, Billy Joe Belt of the home; one great grandchild: Koby Lane Loveless of Tuttle.

Interment was in the Binger Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.

Steven Ray Belt
October 4, 1957 ~ July 31, 2008


Funeral service for Steven Ray Belt, 50 formerly of Tuttle, Oklahoma were held Monday August 4, 2008 at the First Assembly of God Church in Tuttle.

Steven Ray Belt was born October 4, 1957 in Anadarko. He was the son of Billy Ray and Charlene Wilkerson Belt. He died Thursday July 31, 2008 in Oklahoma City.

Steven attended Tuttle Public Schools and lived in the area most of his life. He and his brother worked in construction; he was a licensed and bonded concrete finisher.

He and Leslie were married December 6, 1989. He was preceded in by his parents and Darla Belt.

Survivors include his wife, Leslie Belt; three children, Sonya Slocum, April Belt and Billy Belt; brother, Mark Belt; one grandchild and one on the way.

Interment was in the Murray Cemetery, Binger, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.
