John Williams

Farmer Killed In Car Wreck

A Carnegie Negro farmer was fatally injured in a one-car highway accident Saturday. He was 50 years old.

Funeral services for Williams were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fort Cobb Funeral Home. He had lived in Caddo county since 1952. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist church. He was born 1906 in Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Katherine Williams; five sons, Lester of Fort Cobb; S.A. of Apache; Sylvester, John and Mack of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Rozena Johnson of Fort Cobb and Miss Annie Williams of the home; four brothers, Jerry of California; T.C. of Arkansas; Henry of Texas and A.B. of Colorado.
