Doris Turnbill

She was born June 6, 1914 in Illinois to Clarence & Pearl Bright, died 1-19-2006 in Marble Falls, Texas.

Came to Okla as a young girl and spent most of the rest of her life here. She and her husband, Lawrence Turnbill, farmed northeast of Anadarko.

Mrs. Turnbill was a member of Bethel Baptist Church as long as she lived here. She moved to Chickasha in the l970s. She left Chickasha in 2003 to move to Johnson City, Texas, entering the LBJ Nursing Center, where she resided until November, 1, 2005, when she moved to Northwood Nursing Home in Marble Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son, sons-in-law, Buddy Wall,and Richard Haselhuhn, and grandson Troy Lee Wall and 3 brothers.

Survivors include one daughter, Loretta Haselhuhn of Marble Falls; one son, Larry Turnbill and his wife Pat of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Terry Wall and wife Wendy of OKC, Tonya Wall of Marble Falls, Rick Turnbill and wife Heather of OKC, Kevin Turnbill of Edmond, Tony Turnbill and wife Shannon of Madison WI, Jeff Turnbill of Okc, and Bob and Mary Hibbert, also of OkC, and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral - 1:00 PM, Saturday, Steverson Funeral Chapel
Interment - Memory Lane Cemetery
Visitation - Until 9 PM Friday, and until service time Saturday
