Trena Marie [Wood] Shotkoski

TRENA MARIE WOOD SHOTKOSKI, 49 years, 10 months and 10 days, of Gracemont, was born August 31, 1962, the daughter of Hal and Juanita (Gilbreath) Wood in Wichita Falls, Texas. She went to heaven on Sunday, June 1, 2012.

Trena graduated from Lawton High School in 1981. She attended one year of college at Cameron University in Lawton and two years of beauty school. Trena was married to Marty Shotkoski on August 31, 2004, in Anadarko. She had worked at Wal-Mart and Hermetic Switch. Trena was currently working as a home health provider. She was a member of the Squaretop Baptist Church. Trena volunteered with the Girl and Boy Scouts of America. She was avid about gardening, crafts and fishing. Anything to do with the out-of-doors or playing with her grandchildren made her happy.

Trena was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kelly and Alice Gilbreath, and paternal grandparents, John D. and Margaret Wood.

She is survived by her husband, Marty; stepdaughter, Kissi Riojas and her husband, Jesus of Anadarko; two sons, Rodney Charles Davis, and his wife, Amy of San Diego, California and Christopher Ryan Davis of Knoxville, Tennessee; her parents, Hal and Juanita Wood of Cement; two brothers, Robert Bryan Wood and his wife, Brenda of Cement and John Kelley Wood and his wife, Becky of Devol; one sister; Ramona Glover of Chickasha, her in-laws, Jerry and Georgia Crha and Jim and Cindy Shotkoski; three grandchildren, Katrina and Monica Martinez and Yazzi Riojas; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A luncheon will be held for the family and Trena's church family at 12 P.M., Friday, June 6, 2012 followed by the funeral service scheduled at 2 P.M. Burial will follow in the Memory Lane Cemetery. The family requests that donations be made to the Squaretop Baptist Church in Trena's honor. Arrangements are under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home.
