Pamela Dene Rogers

Pamela Dene Rogers was born March 22, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa, to Homer C. and Geraldine "Geri" J. [Jackson] Rogers. She died at her home south of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, at the age of 50 years, 3 months and 1 day.

Pam was raised in Duval, Washington, graduated from high school in Carnation, Washington, and came to Oklahoma in the early 1980s. She had worked for her sister at the KW Roundup Cafe in Chickasha since 1994. She enjoyed writing poetry and painting watercolors. She was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents Waldo and Elsie Rogers, and maternal grandparents Horace and Vinnie Jackson.

Survivors include two sons, Junstin Rogers of Chickasha and Austin Rogers of Verden; one grandson, Gage Major; two granddaughters, Alexis Rogers and Elizabeth Rogers; two sisters, Kim Wilson and husband Ron of Alex, and Debbie Turner of Lake Placid, Florida; four brothers, Wes Rogers and wife Sandy of Monroe, Washington, Rick Rogers of Anadarko, Steve Worley of LaBelle Florida, and Marty Worley of Columbus, Georgia; 18 nieces and nephews, including two special nieces, Sabrini Highskill of Dibble and Michelle Wilson of Chickasha; and many other relatives and good friends.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday in Steverson Funeral Chapel, with Lyn Walker, Pastor of Cowboy Gospel Church in Chickasha, officiating.

Private interment services for the family will be held at Memory Lane Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family via e-mail to steversonfuneralhome@netride.net.
