Cloda "Dutch" Robinson

Memorial service for Cloda "Dutch" Robinson, 97, of the Cyril-Cement area will be at 11 am Tuesday, Oct 5, 1993, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, with Alan Hannaford, pastor of Parkview Christian Church, Chickasha, officiating.

Mrs. Robinson died Saturday, Oct 2, 1993 in Chickasha after a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 9, 1895, in Leon.

She had lived in Lone Wolf before moving to Anadarko in 1918 and then to Cement in 1920.

She married Bob Robinson in 1923 in Long Beach, Calif. He died in 1967.

She co-owned and operated the Red Bud Florist between Cyril and Cement with her sister, Avah Etter, for 48 years, 1949-1987.

She was an active member of the Cement-Cyril Garden Club, American Legion Auxiliary of Cement, was a worthy matron of the Eastern Star of Cement and was a mother advisor of the Rainbow Assembly of Cement.

She was a member of Parkview Christian Church, Chickasha.

Survivors include a son and two daughters-in-law, Pat and Mattie Lou Robinson of Chickasha, Mary Robinson of Lawton; two sisters, Jewel Roark of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Pauli Paxton of Tahlequah; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, George Robinson; five sisters, Audra Williams, Myrtle Dietrich, Eva Deakin, Mabel Yarnell and Avah Etter; four brothers, Robert, Richard, Jack and Elmer Etter.

Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Christian Church, P. O. Box 279, Chickasha, Ok 73018.

Casketbearers at the service will be her grandsons; Michael Robinson, Robby Robinson, Ron Robinson, Rodney Holloway, Mike Slavin and Tommy Gisinger.

Services are under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home, Fletcher.
