Eula Faye [Oxford] Reece

ANADARKO ~ Eula Faye Reece, 61, of Lubbock, Texas, formerly of Lawton, died Monday, June 9, 2003, in Lubbock, after a long battle with cancer.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, in Bethel Baptist Church in Anadarko, with the Rev. Ray Weathers officiating. A reception will follow for all family members and friends who wish to attend.

Burial will be in Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of Steverson's Funeral Home of Anadarko.

Eula Faye was born in Alma, to Joe L. and Eula Marie Thacker Oxford. She graduated from Velma-Alma High School and received a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Reece; two sons, Jason of Abilene, Texas, and Chris of Plano, Texas; two grandchildren, Logan and Dylan; two sisters, Shirley Jones and Wanda Forshee, both of Velma; two brothers, Cecil of Houston and Raymond of Velma; her mother-in-law, Elsie Reece of Anadarko; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Reece of Broken Bow and Jimmy Reece of Lawton; and four sisters-in-law, Frances Settle of Chickasha, Charlene Monthei of Arkansas, Gwen Moser of Norman and Joyce Reece of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions may made to the American Cancer Society.
