Esther Deloris [Culver] O'Rear

Funeral services for Esther O'Rear, 90, of Anadarko, OK, will be held Saturday, July 16, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Anadarko, OK. Officiating will be Chuck Gilbert.

Esther was born October 31, 1914, to William Penn and Mary Belle Culver in Pawnee, OK. She died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, in Chickasha, OK.

Esther married Frazier O'Rear May 31, 1939, in Pawnee, OK.

They settled in Anadarko in 1944 and raised two children.

She taught fourth grade in the Anadarko Public School System for 22 years before retiring in 1977.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Frazier, her son Don, and four sisters.

Esther is survived by her daughter Deloris Green of Chickasha, OK; grandson Brett Green and wife LaMae and their children Karsyn, Masyn and Brexton all of Chickasha, OK; grandson Derek Green of Oklahoma City, OK; grandson Joe Don O'Rear and his children Jason and Hollieanna of Oklahoma City, OK; brother Gordon Culver and wife Sydney of Lincoln, NE; and sister and her husband Marybelle and John Carver of Oklahoma City, OK.

Interment will be in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, OK, under the direction of Smith-Hackney Funeral Home, Anadarko.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Anadarko, OK.
