Garland Graham Landes

Funeral service for Garland Graham Landes, age 58 of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the First Christian Church. Garland Graham Landes was born September 10, 1946 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He was the son of Garland Reed and Hazel Elizabeth (Graham) Landes. He passed away Sunday March 27, 2005 in Chickasha.

Mr. Landes graduated from Anadarko High School in 1964. From 1969 to 1994 he owned and operated three Pizza Huts and three Mr. Burger restaurants in the Guymon, Oklahoma area. He has lived in Chickasha the last four years.

Mr. Landes served in the U.S. Army Reserve as Green Beret Special Forces. He was a member of the First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Landes of Little Rock, Ark.; two sons, Greg Landes of Guymon, Okla. and Theron Landes of Guymon, Okla.; three sisters, Jerrie Blankinship of Amarillo, Texas, Verla Kay Cordell of Chickasha, Okla., Sally Beth Landes of Stillwater, Okla.; six grandchildren, Taylor Landes, Ryanne Landes, Maggie Landes, Ian Landes, Katelyn Landes and Kenzie; and his aunt Vaughdean Landes of Anadarko, Okla.

Interment will be in Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Chickasha.
