Larry Gene Dawdy

CHICKASHA - Funeral services for Larry Gene Dawdy, 57 of Chickasha were held Monday Dec. 6, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Larry was born September 29, 1953 in Anadarko, Oklahoma, the son of Jess Dawdy and Ruth Morris Dawdy. He died December 3, 2010 in Chickasha.

Larry grew up in Cyril. He married Donna Johnson on September 29, 1973 in Cyril, Oklahoma. In is spare time he enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He is preceded in death by both parents, sister, Sue Dawdy, and twins Ronald Dean and Donna Jean Dawdy.

Survivors include his wife Donna of the home, daughter, Gina Starr of Stillwater; son, Christopher Dawdy of Chickasha, brother and sister-in-law Sonny and Linda Dawdy of Cyril; sisters and brother-in-laws Sally and Craig Gibson of Cyril, Sharon and Rowland Williams of Elgin, and Loretta and James Martin of Cement; two grandchildren Adrianna and Dyonna Starr of Stillwater; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment was in the Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
