© Ray & Martha's Funeral Home Carnegie, Oklahoma December 2015 March 11, 1941 ~ December 1, 2015 Eva Rose "Vino" High Whitewolf passed away on December 1st, 2015 in Carnegie, Oklahoma. She was born March 11, 1941 in Fort Cobb to Charlie High and Ruby Redbird. She was a cook at the Elder Care Center. She was a dedicated member and officer of the Carnegie Victory Club, her grandmothers and sisters were founders. She was later the treasurer, and a member of Esa-Rosa Whitewolf descendent. Eva is survived by:2 daughters: Lee Colorado and husband, Dennis of Flagstaff, AZ, Michelle Whitewolf of Anadarko, OK; 2 sons: CC Whitewolf and wife Marcy of Lawrence, KS BJ Tapedo of Lawrence, KS 2 grandsons: Cloud [Merv] Spicer of Flagstaff, AZ Randy Whitewolf of the home sister: Margie "Lupe" Diaz of Lawton, OK 8 grandchildren: Devin, Charles, P-Nut and JonJon Whitewolf all of Anadarko,OK Arianna Bird of Mount Pleasant, MI Elvin and Thomas Berryhill of Mountain View, OK Candy Berryhill of Oklahoma City, OK special great grandaughter: Embree Adlaid Whitewolf of Carnegie, OK special sister: Kay Rubio, Carnegie, OK numerous other grandchildren. Eva is preceded in death by her parents: Charlie and Ruby [Redbird] High; son: Boe Whitewolf; grandson: Sean Toppah-Whitewolf; sisters: Helen Slattery, Thelma Pahcheka, Linda McKinney, Frieda High; Brothers: Roger and Jerry High; maternal grandparents: Late Moses and Beulah Tineyuah and late Charlie Redbird; paternal grandparents: Late Tseah and Chanasy; special sister Lena Kaulaity. Eva enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports, was an Carnegie Wildcat fan, Dallas Cowboys fan, OU Sooner football and basketball fan. She enjoyed watching figure skating and all her shows on VH1. She liked going to pow-wows, especially watch her son CC dance, going to handgames, and playing bingo. But most of all she loved playing her machine the wolf run and wild wolves at the Hill at Gold River Casino. Mom was a good cook and taught us all her children/grandsons how to cook. Mom taught CC how to make fry bread. Not naming names but Lee and Randy didn't pick-up the cooking skills, Aye', just playing with you two. Wake Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2015 at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home Chapel, Carnegie. Funeral Service will be on at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 6, 2015 at Red Buffalo Hall, Carnegie, Oklahoma with Duke H. Tsoodle, Jr and Tom Wooster officiating. Burial will follow at High Family Cemetery, Ft. Cobb, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie. |
© Caddo County Tribune Anadarko, Oklahoma November 2010 December 23, 1968 ~ October 30, 2010 CARNEGIE Funeral for Jeffrey "Boe" Whitewolf, 41, Carnegie, will be at 11 am Friday at First Apache Indian Baptist Church, Fort Cobb. Wake service will be at 7 pm Thursday at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home Chapel, Carnegie. Then Mr Whitewolf will be taken to First Apache Indian Baptist Church. Mr. Whitewolf was called at sunset, Saturday, October 30, 2010, in Carnegie. Burial will follow at the High Family Cemetery, Fort Cobb. He was born December 23, 1968, to Frank and Eva High Whitewolf, in Lawton, around the Mount Scott area. He attended middle school at Stony Point in Elgin and then moved to Carnegie to finish at Carnegie High School. Boe belonged to the organization Esa-Rosa Whitewolf Descendents. His Indian given name is " Tseah" given to him by his grandpa, Charlie High. He also enjoyed the Blackfeet Society and listening to the songs. Boe loved his mother very much along with his family and kids. Boe was a fan of the Duke Bluedevils, LA Lakers, and the San Francisco 49ers. He enjoyed watching his son, Randy, play sports for the Carnegie Wildcats. He also enjoyed listening to Indian music as well as rock music. Boe liked walking around with his boys. He was a good nurse and cook, and sure could clean the house for his mom. Boe was always smiling and laughing. He and his brothers were always teasing each other. Boe has many other relatives, cousins, nieces, nephews and other friends that loved and cared about him. Survivors include his mother, Eva High Whitewolf, of the home; father, Frank Whitewolf, Lawton; seven children: Randy Whitewolf, of the home; Candi, Thomas, and Elvin Berryhill, all of Mountain View; and Carla, Ila and Tony Toppah, all of Carnegie; two grandkids: Naycee and Jaycen Berryhill, both of Mountain View; seven siblings: Lee Colorado and husband, Dennis, Flagstaff, Ariz.; Michelle "Mi-Mi" Warledo and husband, Jimmy, Anadarko; Amanda and Jennifer Whitewolf, both of Lawton; C-C Whitewolf, Cyril; and Stephen Whitewolf and Jeff Polingyumptewa, both of Lawton; special sister, Cybil Bointy, Carnegie; special nephew, Merv Spicer, Flagstaff; special best friend, Teri Toppah, Carnegie; special aunts and uncle: Frieda High; and Richard and Clara Clift, all of Carnegie; special brother, Beco High; and special friend, his children's mother, Ernie Berryhill. He was preceded in death by a toddler son, Shawn Whitewolf-Toppah; one brother, Chebon Koomsa; grandparents: Charlie and Ruby [Tannequodle-Redbird] High: Howard and Thelma (Edge) Whitewolf; great-grandparents: Frank and Minnie [Williams] Edge, Eddie and Mary [Taddykee] Whitewolf, Tseah and Chanasy, and Beulah Hall-Zotigh and Charlie Redbird; two uncles: Roger Lee High and Jerry Lee High; four aunties: Helen [High] Slattery, Linda [High] McKenney, Thelma [High] Pahcheka and Shirley [Baras] Whitewolf. |
