Emil Bernard Weidenmaier

He was co-owner of Weidenmaier and Sons department store in Fort Cobb.

He was married February 3, 1920 in El Reno to Miss Delma Louise Daigh. They established a home in Fort Cobb where he was in the mercantile business.

Delma died February 27, 1941 and Emil married the former Loleet Stinson on January 5, 1942. Loleet died on August 4, 1962.

He was a member of the Fort Cobb Christian church, a past-president of the Fort Cobb Rotary club, a member of the Masonic lodge, Order of the Eastern Star, Odd Fellow Lodge No. 241, and a veteran of World War I.

Father to a son, R.H. of Fort Cobb and brother to Albert of Fort Cobb, Arnold and Paul of Moore, Frank of Apache and Lewis of Norman.

Loleet [Stinson] Weidenmaier

Fort Cobb Rites Held Tuesday For Mrs. Weidenmaier

Funeral services for Mrs. Loleet Weidenmaier, Fort Cobb, were Tuesday in the Christian church with Rev. Bill Cloud, Seminole, officiating, assisted by Rev. C.L. Cole, pastor. Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery with the Fort Cobb Funeral home in charge. Born October 14, 1904 at Blanket, Tex., she died Saturday in Wesley hospital, Oklahoma City, after an illness of several months.

She came to Fort Cobb in 1938, where she was a school teacher. She was married to E.B. Weidenmaier July 5, 1942 at Fort Cobb.

Mrs. Weidenmaier was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Fort Cobb Christian church and Fort Cobb Improvement club.

She is survived by her husband, E.B., of the home; two step-sons, R.H. and W.D. Weidenmaier, both of Fort Cobb; seven grandchildren and several cousins.

Two Killed In Accident

Funerals for William Weidenmaier, 40, Fort Cobb, and his sister-in-law, Miss Jessie Mae Morgan, 29, Oklahoma City, victims of a two-car accident near Waurika last Thursday, were held at separate services Sunday at Fort Cobb and Mountain View.

Weidenmaier, a Fort Cobb postal clerk, was killed instantly when the car in which he was riding collided with another driven by Jess John Newson, 67, at the intersection of Highways 81 and U.S. 70 near Waurika. Miss Morgan died a few hours later in a Duncan hospital.

The Fort Cobb man's wife, Coleta, and six-year-old daughter, Lindsay Ann, were seriously injured in the wreck. Mrs. Weidenmaier and her daughter were taken to the Anadarko hospital after receiving emergency treatment at a Waurika hospital. Both were released to attend the funeral services Sunday, but Mrs. Weidenmaier was returned to the hospital. She was moved to the home of her mother at Mountain View Tuesday.

The Weidenmaiers had left their year-old twin daughter, Sandra and Susan, with a Fort Cobb family and were enroute to Dallas on a vacation trip when the accident occurred.

Weidenmaier, who operated a grocery store at Mountain View several years before moving back to Fort Cobb about three years ago, was born April 27, 1923,

at Oklahoma City. He had lived most of his life at Fort Cobb. He was a veteran of World II, a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Masonic lodge, Rotary club and Odd Fellow lodge.

Survivors include his wife, the three daughters and one son, Bob.

Coleta Ann [Morgan] Weidenmaier Stinson

Coleta Ann [Morgan] Weidenmaier Stinson was born on February 23, 1935 near Mountain View, OK in the Starr community to DeWitte and Jessie [Feeser] Morgan. She departed this life on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Fairview, OK surrounded by her loving family.

Coleta attended Starr Community School through 6th grade and graduated from Mountain View High School in 1952, where she played the cornet in the school band. She married Bill Weidenmaier on June 7, 1956 at Mountain View, OK, and later married Darrell Stinson on August 3, 1968 at Carnegie, OK. Coleta received her LPN license at Hobart, OK and worked for Dr. Tolbert as his clinic nurse in Mountain View. She also worked at Thomas Hospital, Watonga Nursing Home, Geary Nursing Home and finished her nursing career with Home Health. Her favorite job was taking care of her family. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. Coleta enjoyed sewing, yardwork, watching sporting events and reading the newspapers. She had lived at Mountain View, Carnegie, Fort Cobb, Fay and Ames, OK.

Coleta was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Bill; an infant son, Emil DeWitte Weidenmaier; siblings Maybian Rhodes, Flossie Bales, Ima Nix, Ellen Kilday, Polly Newsom, Bud Morgan, Tyke Morgan, Jessie Mae Morgan and Sam Morgan; in-laws Emil and Loleet Weidenmaier, and John and Florence Stinson.

She is survived by her husband Darrell Stinson of the home; daughters and son-in-laws Lindsay and Eddie Wilson of Tulsa, OK, Sandra and Allen Shafer of Houston, TX, Susan and Tim Sells of Wichita, KS and Debra and John Ott of Ames, OK; grandchildren Joby Wilson and wife Allison, Jenifer Darling, Stefanie Denton and husband Jerry, Alex Shafer and wife Megan, Dexter Shafer and wife Kayla, Addie Shafer, Jordan Sells, Tate Ott, Kelby Ott and Hadley Ott; great-grandchildren Alex Darling, Tabitha Darling, Morgan Denton, Bryleigh Shafer, Kaden Shafer and one on the way; sister-in-laws Mary Morgan, Mavis Hart and Regina Stinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Fay Auditorium with Minister David Beck and Minister Bill Crenshaw officiating. Interment will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Fort Cobb Cemetery.
