Inos Lavena [Brock] McMillin

Inos Lavena Brock McMillin was called home by the Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at her home in Dibble, Oklahoma at the age of 79. Inos was born November 18, 1935 to William Henry Brock and Lavena Oretha Pittman in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

She married Kenneth Murray McMillin on September 22, 1952. They were married 59 years when Kenneth passed away in 2012. She soon moved to Dibble after finding out she had cancer and was taken good care of by her daughter, Lavena and family.

Inos was a loving and caring lady. She enjoyed her family and was an amazing "Granny" to her 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

While living in Fort Cobb, Inos worked at the Fort Cobb Locker Plant processing meat as well as being a homemaker and taking care of her husband and children. She was a life long member of the Church of Christ in Fort Cobb.

Survivors include 3 sons: 2 in Oklahoma and 1 in Texas; daughter, Lavena Russell and husband, Billy of Dibble, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Orval E. Brock and Roy Jack Brock; 2 sisters: Fern Lemmons and Shirley Waller, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Inos is preceded in death by her parents: William Henry and Lavena Oretha Brock, husband, Kenneth Murray McMillin, 3 brothers: Henry Lee Alden, Aarta Dean and Billy Bob Brock; 2 sisters: Anita Pinner and Roberta Arms, Mother-in-law, Beatrice Melvina Meek McMillin and Father-in-law, Clarence William McMillin, various aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Church of Christ in Fort Cobb with Bro. Billy Clabaugh, officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak grove Cemetery in Fort Cobb under the direction of Fort Cobb Funeral Home, Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.

Frances Lavanie McMillin

Fourteen year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray McMillin. Lived all her life at Fort Cobb. She was a ninth grade student in the Fort Cobb schools where she was a member of the Pep club, FHA, 4-H club and a Cadet Girl Scout. She was the first girl in Fort Cobb to attain the rank of First Class Scout.

Had a sister, Brenda Sue and a grandmother, Mrs.Florence Herd of Bonham, Texas.
