Fort Cobb Service For McCauley

Funeral services for Albert Lee "Mac' McCauley, 65, of Fort Cobb, were Saturday, April 16, at the First Baptist church in Fort Cobb. He died April 14 in the Carnegie hospital.

Rev. Jimmy McAllister, pastor of the church, officiated with Rev. Williams Smith, pastor of the First United Methodist church, assisting. Burial was in the Fort Cobb cemetery.

McCauley was born March 6, 1912, in Wynnewood and grew up at Mangum. He married the former Juanita Cox February 28, 1932, at Hollis. They lived in Greer county until 1935 when they moved to Apache. They moved to Fort Cobb in 1936, where McCauley operated an auto parts store for many years.

He was a member of the First Baptist church.

Survivors include his widow of the home; two sons, Ronnie and Albert of Fort Cobb; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Henderson of rural Fort Cobb; his mother, Sarah McCauley of Fort Cobb, one brother, Henry of rural Hinton; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three daughters, one son, his father and a grandson.

Katheryn Jean "Kathy" [Hawkins] McCauley

Kathryn Jean "Kathy" McCauley, 72, passed away on Monday, March 10th, 2014 after a very courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on May 13, 1941 in Anadarko, OK to Earl and Elva [Jones] Hawkins.

She grew up in Anadarko and graduated from Anadarko High School. She later attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK and Central State University in Edmond, OK. She lived in Oklahoma City for a few years before moving to Fort Cobb in 1972, where she lived the rest of her life.

She worked as an accountant for Hollytex Carpet Mills for over 25 years. She attended the First Baptist Church and the Church of Christ in Fort Cobb, OK. Her greatest joy was spoiling her grandchildren, especially her only granddaughter, Kathryn-Elizabeth.

She is survived by: 2 sons and their wives: Jeff and Jessica McCauley, Dallas, TX, Greg and Cheryl-Paige McCauley, Fort Cobb, OK, 4 grandchildren: Aidan and Greyson from Dallas, TX, Preston and Kathryn-Elizabeth from Fort Cobb, OK, 1 brother: Earl "Bud" Hawkins, Okla. City, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 infant sisters.

Funeral Services: 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 13, 2014

Officiating: Billy Clabaugh, Rev. Donnie Edmondson, Brian King

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Cobb, OK
