Wilna Jean [Thomas] LeFever

Funeral services for Wilma LeFever, 66, of Lawton were held Monday, March 17, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Fort Cobb with Rev. Paul Kirsch, pastor of the Alfalfa Baptist Church officiating.

Wilma was born January 24, 1937 in Carnegie to Bill and Grace [Kincy] Thomas and died Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at the Comanche County Hospital in Lawton.

She moved to Lubbock at the age of 15 and has lived in Oklahoma City and El Paso, Texas and moved to Ft. Cobb in 1972. She later moved to Lawton in 1997.

She married Donnie LeFever on May 4, 1963 in El Paso, Texas.

She was a member of the Alfalfa Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie of the home,; one son, Tony LeFever of Lawton; two daughters, LeaAnn Williams of Rush Springs and Lori Keeton and husband Terry of Verden; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Thomas and Billy Thomas and wife Mildred all of Fort Cobb Lake; four sisters, Josephine Hupp and husband, Kerman of Washita, Cathrine Kietly and husband Harold of Rock Springs, WY, Geraldine Kiley of California and Lillie Hawkins of Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Jeanne Nielson; three brothers, George, James and Richard; one sister, Virginia. Burial was in the Ft. Cobb Cemetery under the direction of the Pitcher Hackney Funeral Home in Carnegie.
