Robert B. Ferguson

R. B. Ferguson Dies Monday in Anadarko

R. B. Ferguson, a resident of the community four miles north of Carnegie from 1910 until 1926, died at an Anadarko hospital early Monday morning. He was 88 years old.

Final rites were held at the Anadarko Presbyterian church at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon and burial was made in the Fort Cobb cemetery.

Born in Drumkirk, Ireland, April 9, 1858,

Mr. Ferguson came to America in 1882.

He was married to Miss Hallie Finney in Kansas in 1892. The family came to the Carnegie community in 1910 and moved to Anadarko in 1926.

Survivors are his wife and one daughter, Miss Edna Ferguson of the home; four sons, Robt. F. Ferguson, Ada; Delmer P. and James Roland Ferguson of Oklahoma City, and Samuel Russell Ferguson of El Dorado, Kansas; also four grandchildren and other near relatives in this community.
