Fort Cobb, Oklahoma Thursday, May 28, 1925 Mollie E. Fuller Fuller 1878 ~ 1925 Mrs M. M. Fuller died at about 11 o'clock Friday night at her home south of town after a long illness. Mrs Fuller was about 47 years of age at the time of her passing. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church at 3 o'clock Saturday. Rev Shook spoke the last words over the remains. Interment followed in the Oak Grove Cemwtery north of town. Relatives of the bereaved family have the sympathy of a host of friends in loss of the flower of the home. |
Fort Cobb, Oklahoma Thursday, August 25, 1927 August 15, 1902 ~ August 22, 1927 Steve Fuller, age 25, farmer who resided with his parents four miles west of Fort Cobb, succumbed to a heart attack Sunday night, dying shortly after midnight. He had been in bad health for some time, but had put in this years crops as usual. He did his best to hold up as long as he could go. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist church, conducted by Rev DeWitt, the pastor. Interment was made in the Fort Cobb cemetery, being in charge of Grimmett's funeral director. |
© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, July 24, 1957 Pansy Willie [Hodo] Fuller January 25, 1903 ~ July 23, 1957 Fuller Funeral Services Will Be Held At Fort Cobb Last rites for Mrs. Pansy Fuller, Carnegie, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Fort Cobb Funeral home. Burial will be in the Oak Grove cemetery, near Fort Cobb. Mrs. Fuller, 54 years of age, suffered a stroke about two weeks ago. She was taken to a Clinton hospital but returned home a few days later, seemingly improved. She was stricken again Tuesday and died a short time later. She was born January 25, 1903, at Goldwaithe, Tex. She was married to Willie A. Fuller in 1918 at Hobbs, N.M. Seventeen children were born to them. One daughter preceded her in death in 1937 and her husband in 1953. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include five sons, Roy H. Fuller of Santa Rosa, Calif., Weldon Ray Fuller, Carnegie; Virgil Lee, Billy Dean and Wayne Arthur of the home; 11 daughters, Mrs. Bessie Jones, Elk City; Mrs. Anna Cutrer of Baton Rouge, La.; Mrs. Grace Carter, Orange, Tex.; Mrs. Beatrice Burnich of Santa Rose,; Mrs. Dorothy Martin, Fort Cobb; Mrs. Ruby Dirickson, Carnegie; Mrs. Jaunita Cutrer of Kentwood, La.; Mrs. Alma Ruth Mabry, Carnegie; Mrs. Muriel Oliphant, Carnegie; Wanda Jean and Linda Kay of the home; her step-mother, Mrs. Cleo Hodo of Columbus, Mo.; two half-brothers, R.V. Hodo and Leonard Hodo of Kansas City, Kans.; 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. |

Fuller, age 76, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2002, in the Oak Grove Cemetery, in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma. Walter Owens will officiate, and Don Mulligan will assist. Roy H. Fuller was born the son of Willie A. Fuller and Pansy Hodo Fuller on March 2, 1926, in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma. He died on Friday, March 29, 2002, in Chickasha. Roy grew up in Ft. Cobb. He entered the United States Army in 1944, serving during World War II. After the war, Roy moved to California and began working in construction. He retired in 1975 and moved to Henryetta, Oklahoma, where he was a cattleman. Roy married Patricia Powell on May 8, 1978, in Henryetta. They moved to Chickasha in 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bill Fuller, and six sisters, Thelma, Bessie, Anna, Grace, Beatrice and Juanita. Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Fuller, of Chickasha; 2 stepdaughters: Michele Archer, of Santa Rose, California, and Charlotte Hughes, of Springfield, Oregon; 3 stepsons: Don Barry, of Augusta, Georgia, Richard Barry, of Page, Arizona, and David Barry, of Henryetta; 3 brothers: Weldon Fuller, of Anadarko, Wayne Fuller, of Ardmore and Virgil Fuller, of Woodward; 6 sisters: Dorothy Martin, of Chickasha, Ruby Derickson, of Carnegie, Ruth Mabry, of Carnegie, Muriel Oliphant, Linda Kay Curry, of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Wanda Grubb, of Cromwell. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |
Fort Cobb, Oklahoma Thursday, October 22, 1931 August 12, 1929 ~ October 17, 1931 Funeral services were held at the Fort Cobb Funeral Home last Sunday afternoon for little Vergie Alfreda Fuller, the 2 year old daughter of Mr and Mrs J. J. Fuller, of south of town. The little child was the victim of a peculiar accident. While at play Saturday, she was carrying a fruit jar and stumbled, falling on the jar and breaking it, a piece of glass piercing her heart. The services were conducted by Rev George Fuller, and internment was in the Fort Cobb Cemetery. She was 2 years, 2 months and 4 days old at the time of her death, and is survived by her parents, and a number of other relatives. |
Carnegie, Oklahoma January 2010 June 3, 1949 ~ January 24, 2010 Wayne Arthur Fuller was born June 3, 1949 in Carnegie to Willie Arthur Fuller and Pansy Willie [Hodo] Fuller and died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha. He lived most of his life in Carnegie. He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and three brothers. Survivors include one brother, Weldon Fuller of Poteau; and six sisters, Dorothy Martin, Chickasha; Ruby Dirickson, Carnegie; Ruth Mabry, Carnegie; Muriel Oliphant, Chickasha, Wanda Grubbs, Chickasha and Linda Curier of Tempe AZ. |
