Ralph "Del" Brownback

Ralph Del Brownback was born May 6, 1930 near Washita, Oklahoma to Forest and Ruby Ann [Williams] Brownback.

He entered into Heaven on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the age of 88.

Del graduated from high school from Washita School and then attended college at Cameron University for 1 year.

Del married his sweetheart, Modena Bidleman on February 9, 1951. They were blessed with 67 years of marriage.

He joined the U.S. Air Force in March of 1951 and proudly served our country while stationed in Upper Heyford Air Force Base in England for 3 years.

Del was a God fearing, kind hearted, hard working family man and loved his family with all his heart. He enjoyed following the grandkids and their school and sports activities.

Del was a member of the Fort Cobb Church of Christ and had served as a deacon.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Modena, of the home; son, Keith Brownback and his wife Shirl of Fort Cobb; 3 daughters: Diane Crabbe of Edmond, Karen Rogers and her husband, Larry of Fort Cobb, Juli Ward and her husband, James of Okmulgee; 12 grandchildren and their spouses: Cody and Stephanie Brownback, Adam and Bridget Brownback, Jada Brownback, Kelli and Dave Lautenschlager, Kristal and Joshua Giesel, Jesse and Brook Rogers, Shelly Rogers, Jenna and Cody Abbott, Talor and Cale Fulps, Regan and Brock Hime, Grant Ward and Jayce Ward; 13 great grandchildren: Ella and Crew Brownback, Weston Brownback, Henry and Maddux Lautenschlager, Brooklyn, Jett and Nash Giesel, River and Gunner Rogers, Sophie, Bentley and Ava Abbott; sister-in-law, JoNell Brownback, other relatives and many friends.

Del is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Dewitt Brownback, sister, Marilyn Grant and 3 grandsons: John Del, Barry Don and Jacob Wayne Crabbe.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 17, 2018 at 2:00 at the Church of Christ in Fort Cobb. Officiating will be Jimmy Lee, Jarred Pettijohn and Billy Clabaugh. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Cobb. Funeral services are under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home, Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.
