Roy Mack Arnold

Roy Mack Arnold was born August 11, 1917 in Dale, Oklahoma.

He was the eldest of three children born to Ernest M. and Pearl [Hutchison] Arnold.

He grew up in the Shawnee area. After high school he attended Northeast Missouri State College at Maryville, Missouri.

He worked in the oil fields of Southern Louisiana and Southeast Texas. He served in the Army during W.W.II. He later graduated from Cameron Junior College.

For a number of years he was associated with his family in farming and dairy operation in the Fort Cobb and Washita area.

He married Adele Jarman on July 1, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Roy retired in 1990 after working 20 years for Mayerís Factory Warehouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Roy and Adele lived in Oklahoma City until October of 1995 when they moved to Chelsea, Oklahoma.

He was a member of the Fort Cobb United Methodist Church, the Fort Cobb Masonic Lodge, American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.

He died November 16, 1997 in Claremore, Oklahoma.

His parents and a brother Carl preceded him in death .

He is survived by: His Wife Adele Arnold Of Chelsea, Oklahoma.

One Sister Bonnie Jo Sears Of Chelsea, Oklahoma.

One Sister-In-Law Tance Arnold Of Yukon, Oklahoma.

Several Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Service, Wednesday 2:00 PM November 19, 1997 with Rev. Frank Mitchell Officiating at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma under the direction of Seaman - Blanke Funeral Service Chelsea, Oklahoma.

Adele [Jarman] Arnold

Adele Arnold, who passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2005. Adele Jarman Arnold Age 84.

Adele Jarman was born August 25, 1920 in Sidon, Mississippi to Joseph and Ada Lella [George] Jarman. She married Roy Mack Arnold on July 1, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas. Roy died on November 16, 1997.

She worked as a nurse's aid in Vicksburg, Mississippi before moving to Oklahoma.

She is survived by: Her Sister, Ann Coonce of Allen, Texas, One Brother, Walter Jarman of Clarksville, Virginia, Two Sister-In-Laws, Jo Sears of Chelsea, Oklahoma Tance Arnold of Yukon, Oklahoma, And a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Funeral Service 2:00 Tuesday February 8th at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma with Reverend Jonathan Derby Officiating.

Under the Direction of Seaman - Blanke Funeral Service of Chelsea, Oklahoma.
