Mary Sue [Reece] Denton
January 4, 1942 ~ May 31, 2010


Graveside services for Mary Sue Denton, 68, of Anadarko will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 4 at Fairview Cemetery in Apache with the Rev. Bud Jones, officiating.

She was born Jan. 4, 1942 to Pike and Hazel [Glen] Reece in Anadarko.

She was killed in an auto accident on May 31, 2010, west of Anadarko.

Mrs. Denton graduated from Anadarko High School. She married James Everett Denton on Nov. 10, 1960 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 1997.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and canned a lot of what she raised. She moved to Anadarko in 1992 from Apache and although she didn't keep a large garden, she did continue flower gardening.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Anadarko.

She is survived by her son, Steve Denton of Anadarko; three sisters, Ann and her husband, Jerry Snodgrass of Oklahoma City, Darlene Pheasant of Medford, Ore. and Peggy Cossey of El Reno; her close, special friends, Sheryl Cooper and Teresa Moser.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Larry Rogers and one sister, Joyce DeWitt.

Burial will follow under the direction of Crews Funeral Home of Apache.

Jimmy Allen Denton
August 12, 1961 ~ December 19, 2012


Jimmy Allen Denton of Apache, Oklahoma was born August 12, 1961 in Cyril, OK to Bobby Ray and Joan [Darnell] Denton. He passed away December 19th at his home in Apache at the age of 51.

Jimmy graduated from Apache High School.

He was married to Anne Tate and to this union, three children were born.

He worked as a truck driver for many years. The last two years, he worked at Ft. Sill, OK for a private contractor.

Jimmy enjoyed horse racing, golf and NASCAR racing. He was a member of the Apache Sports Booster Club. He liked to spend time with his friends and family, and loved to play with his grandchildren.

He is survived by: 1 son and his wife - Jacob and Dominique Denton Apache, OK; 2 daughters - Jenna and husband, Dale Bellamy Ft. Cobb, OK and Jayme Denton Apache, OK; 5 grandchildren - Kyler Denton, Kanon Denton, Kenadi Denton, Dru Bellamy, Bo Bellamy; 1 brother and his wife - Bryan and Sharyl Denton Apache, OK; 1 sister and her husband - Tammy and Verril Brewer Chickasha, OK; His grandmothe -Agnes Jones Rocky Face, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 21, at 10:00 A.M. at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Bud Jones officiating and assisted by Pastor Caleb McDowell. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Apache School Bleachers Fund.
