Patsy Corine [Cooper] Clauson
October 10, 1938 ~ June 23, 2016


APACHE: Patsy Corine Cooper Clauson was born October 10, 1938, in Hardesty, Okla., to Frank S. and Effie Estille Sillsbee Cooper.

She passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at her home at the age of 77.

Pat attended Guymon Public Schools.

She was married to Billy Eugene Knight Sr. and to this union five children were born. He preceded her in death.

She worked as a furniture and auto upholsterer.

Her favorite thing to do was going dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

She married Darien James Clauson on March 28, 1991, in Lewisville, Texas.

They eventually moved to their home south of Apache where she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved each of them greatly, and all were very special to her. She also cared deeply for her 17-year-old Chihuahua, "Luke."

Pat is survived by her husband, Darien, of the home; three sons: Billy Eugene and wife Debbie Knight, Archer City, Texas; Jeffrey Lynn Knight, Lake Dallas, Texas; and Louis Lee Knight, Archer City, Texas; one daughter, Dedee Sue and husband James Russell, Apache; 12 grandchildren: John Knight, Jamie Lail, Roxanne Reynolds, Bobby Knight, April Knight, Paige Knight, Bradley Knight, Chantal Shirley, Michael Knight, Brittany Knight, Christy Boatright and James Davis; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Jack Smith; her first husband, Billy Knight Sr.; a daughter, Patti Jean Jacobs; one brother, Billy Cooper; and one half sister, Patsy Smith. She also lost five children due to miscarriages.

A memorial celebration of her life will began at noon Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the family's home and will proceed to DJ's Bait Shop at Edgewater Park at 3 p.m. Arrangements are under direction of Crews Funeral Home.
