Gracie M. Brooks Memorial Mass Set Here Friday

Memorial Mass for Gracie M. Brooks, 80, will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 1995 at the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church with Father Thomas O'Toole officiating.

Ms. Brooks died at the home of her niece Southwest of Apache on March 7, 1995.

She was born April 30, 1914 at Birmingham, Alabama to Adger and Emma Crabb Brooks.

She married Andrew Minifield in 1936 at Birmingham, Alabama. He preceded her in death. She retired from nursing in 1989 and moved to Apache in 1992. She was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Lou Starke of Detroit, Michigan and a niece and her husband, Grace and Crynell Gaines of Apache.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and her twin sister.
