Judith Ann Smith
1952 ~ 2020

Judith Ann Smith, age 67, of Jackson, CA, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in Valley Springs, CA.

Judith was born in Wichita, KS on September 17, 1952, a daughter of the late Hazel Ellen [Beets] and Jack Harry Reynolds.

Judith was known as "Judy Gran" as she was a universal grandmother. She welcomed anyone and everyone with open arms into her home and into her heart.

She was a homemaker her whole life and helped raise her nieces and nephews as well as 6 of her grandchildren. Judith was more than a grandmother to her grandchildren, she was their mother and raised them the best she could even when her health started to fail. She was a firecracker and everyone knew not to mistreat any of her babies.

She was very proud of her Native American heritage and was apart of the Delaware Tribe of Anadarko, OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Sr.; brothers, Butchie, Jimmy and Jerry; sisters, Mary and Liz. Judith is survived by her son, Douglas [Sara] Smith; sister, Susan Reynolds; grandsons Douglas Smith, James Smith, and Jacob Schaller; granddaughters, Brandee Smith, Arielle Rudolph, Kayla Smith, Carolyn Smith, and Jaclyn Stone; great grandson, Silas Bullard, and great granddaughter, Norah Hawkins.
