Bessie Juanita "Sis" [Moser] Perry

Funeral service for Bessie Juanita "Sis" Perry, age 92, of Cyril, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17th, 2007, in the First Christian Church of Cyril. Rev. Kirk Smethers, Doug Graham, Trent Moser, and Julie Poteet will officiate.

Bessie Juanita "Sis" Perry was born the daughter of Frank Moser and Ella Bledsoe Moser on January 7, 1915, in Cyril, Oklahoma. She died on March 14, 2007, in Cyril.

Interment will be in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of McRay's Funeral Home.

Shirley Frank Perry

Funeral service for Shirley Frank Perry, 82, of Cyril, Oklahoma, will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Cyril with Pastor Travis Wollenberg and Pastor Donny Crittendon, officiating. Burial will follow at the Celestial Gardens in Cyril under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home.

Mr. Perry passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016, in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

Shirley Frank Perry was born October 17, 1933 in Cyril, Oklahoma to Arnold and Juanita [Moser] Perry. He graduated from Cyril High School in 1952. Shirley married Lorna Rieck on September 17, 1956. The two have been married for 59 years and were blessed with 3 children.

He was employed at Bud Scoggins', later known as CD Wise's Grocery Store in Cyril before serving his country in the United States Army for two years. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Shirley became employed at APCO/ORC Refinery from 1958 until 1984. When the refinery closed he worked a variety of jobs before retiring. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cyril where he served as a deacon. Shirley was a wonderful man and will be missed by all those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Lorna Perry, of the home; 2 sons: Toby Perry and his wife Cindy of Sugar Land, TX and Todd Perry of Cyril; 1 daughter, Tracy Wade and her husband Mark of Simonton, TX; 7 grandchildren: Becky Ricketts and her husband Rodman, Adam Perry and his wife Lauren, Jared Perry, Christine Perry, Emma Perry, Molly Wade, and Fletcher Wade; 1 great granddaughter, Madison Perry; 1 sister, Eva Mae Howard of Marlow; 1 nephew, Jody Howard of Marlow; 1 niece, LeAnn Spangler of Bridge Creek; 1 uncle, Jerry (Butch) Moser and his wife Thresa of Anadarko; and numerous other relatives throughout Southwest Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Juanita Perry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Cyril.

Lorna Nell Rieck Perry

CYRIL Funeral for Lorna Perry, 81, Cyril, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Cyril with Pastor Donny Crittendon, officiating.

Burial will be at the Celestial Gardens in Cyril under direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Perry passed away Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, at her home in Cyril.

Lorna Nell [Rieck] Perry was born Nov. 27, 1936, in Fletcher, to John and Dorothy [Long] Rieck. She graduated from Fletcher High School and attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. Lorna married Shirley Perry on Sept. 17, 1956. The two were married for 59 years and were blessed with three children. She served as the school secretary at Cyril Elementary School where she greeted parents and children, provided instructional support for teachers, assisted in the library and cafeteria, maintained official grade records, and judiciously distributed Band-Aids for a multitude of playground mishaps. "Mrs. Perry" was a calming and compassionate presence in the front office for many years. She was an active and devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Cyril throughout her life.

Lorna is survived by two sons: Toby Perry and his wife Cindy, Sugar Land, Texas, and Todd Perry, Cyril; a daughter, Tracy Wade and her husband Mark, Simonton, Texas; seven grandchildren: Becky Ricketts and her husband Rodman, Adam Perry and his wife Lauren, Jared Perry, Christine Perry, Emma Perry, Molly Wade, and Fletcher Wade; a great-granddaughter, Madison Perry; two great-grandsons: Oliver and Theodore Perry; and a sister, Minnie Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Perry; her parents; and her niece, Michelle Fica.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Cyril.
