Shirley Juanita [Ogo] Myers

Shirley was the daughter of John Martin Igo and Susie Myrtle Stephens Igo. She grew up in Cement and graduated from Cement HS in 1934. After graduation, she attended Cameron College, in Lawton, where she graduated in 1939, with a degree in teaching.

She married Frank H Jarvis in 1935. Shirley taught school in both Rocky Ford, and Denton, OK, during the 1940s. In 1945, she married Roy Meyers and moved to Spencer from the Cement area.

Shirley was employed with Montgomery Ward Credit Union, where she served as a Loan Officer for 5 years and later was employed as Administrator and Chief Loan Officer for the OK Dept of Public Welfare Credit Union, where she retired in 1983.

Shirley was a member of the Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by both parents, both husbands, one brother and one sister Survivors include one son; two daughters; three sisters; three brothers; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
