Sharon Charlene [Littrell] Johns

Funeral services for Sharon Charlene Johns, 63, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2009, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Sharon Charlene Johns was born January 1, 1946, in Chickasha, the daughter of Charles and Katie [Williams] Littrell.

She died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at the Cancer Treatment Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after a long hard fight with cancer. She lived her life like she fought her cancer, she never gave up or quit on anything in her lifetime. She fought the battle till God wanted her to come home and be finished with the battle.

She grew up in Chickasha where she attended and graduated from Chickasha High School.

Sharon married Otis T. Johns on August 30, 1967, in Chickasha. They made their home in Chickasha and raised eight children together.

She attended the Vo-Tech in El Reno where she received her LPN license. She had worked for the Anadarko Hospital and for Home Health. Sharon had a big heart and she cared about people. She truly enjoyed her job and taking care of her patients as well as her own family.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by both parents; step father, Raymond Williams; two sisters: Laura Ingram and Rosa Lee Ingram; and one daughter, Teri Gail Randolph.Sharon leaves behind her husband, Otis; two sons and daughter-in-law: Les and Patti Johns, of Moore and Greg Johns, of Chickasha; five daughters and sons-in-law: Olita and Pat Rhoades, of Missouri; Omega Vann, of Chickasha; Donita Barber and Judy Ryles, both of Muskogee; and Joley and Chass Schulte, of Rush Springs; numerous grandchildren; four sisters; four brothers; and a host of extended family.

Interment will be in the Cement Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
