Ida B. Jensen

Graveside services for Ida B. Jensen, 91, of Cement will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 2, 2005 in the Cement Cemetery with the Reverend Johnny Wray of Verden officiating.

Mrs. Jensen died Sunday, July 31, 2005 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Burial will be in the Cement Cemetery, Cement, Oklahoma under the direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. She was born June 28, 1914 in rural Anadarko to I. W. and Myrtle D. [Driver] Smith.

She married Henry Ernest Zigler December 28, 1932, and he preceded her in death in 1957.

She later married C. A. "Mike" Jensen, who also preceded her in death in 2002.

Mrs. Jensen worked for many years at Fort Sill, and lived on the farm most of her life, she loved raising cattle and other animals. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ethel Pitts and Daphne Lamb, two brothers, Elmer Smith and Ronal Smith, also her son-in-law Thomas Chaney.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Norma Jean Chaney of Cement, Myrtle Dell and Bill Watson of Anadarko.

Six grandchildren and spouses: Randy and Linda Chaney, of Cement, Diane and David Haney of Rush Springs, Bill Jr. and Jacquie Watson of Lantana, Florida, Wayne and Linda Watson of Severn, Maryland, Steven and Mary Watson of Linthicum Heights, Maryland, Patricia and Evan Komardley of Apache; 12 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends in which she deeply loved.
