Steven Henry Jarvis Sr

Funeral Services for Steven H. Jarvis Sr, 46, of Spencer will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church with Dave Klumpp officiating.

Steven Henry Jarvis was born November 17, 1961, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Frank H. Jarvis Jr. and Sondra G. Dorries Jarvis. He died July 4, 2008 in Spencer, Oklahoma.

Steven grew up in the Spencer area attending Star Elementary and later moving to Verden, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Verden High School in 1980. He married Donna Mealer and from this union two children Twylah Christina Jarvis, and Steven H. Jarvis Jr. were born. During Steven's lifetime he was employed in Insurance Sales, Hermetic Switch, Farming, and Borden Milk where he delivered milk for sixteen years. In his free time he enjoyed camping with his children, fishing, and playing dominos and cards with his friends and family. Most of all he enjoyed life, spending time with his grandchildren and other family members.

He is preceded in death by a nephew Ryder Zeiset, grandmother Shirley Meyers and grandparents A.E. and Francis Dorries. Survivors include his two children and spouses Twylah Christina and Kevin Whitehead and Steven H. and Stephanie Jarvis all of Chickasha; parents Frank H. and Sondra G. Jarvis of Cement; two sisters and spouses Kay and Ronnie Bush of Chickasha and Zoe Ann and Joe Valdez of Spencer; one brother and spouse Frank H. III and Kathi Jarvis of Bethany; four grandchildren, Kristen Harris, Harley Whitehead, Kaisen Whitehead, and Kelsey Jarvis all of Chickasha; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Cement Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
