Kenneth Jeral Gray

CEMENT -- Funeral Service for Kenneth Jeral Gray, 73, of Cement, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, in the Pentecostal Holiness Church iin Cement. Rev. John Zwolle will officiate and Rev. Ed Whitley will assist.

He was born the son of William Gray and Ethel Newberry Gray on Feb 2, 1937 in Verden. He died on July 16, 2010 in Chickasha.

He grew up in Verden and Cement area where he returned after serving in the United States Navy.

He worked in the oil field upon returniing, then he moved to Oklahoma city where he worked as a mechanic for about six years. He then worked as a farmer for the rest of his life. After retiring, he moved back to Cement where he has lived for 35 years.

Mr. Gray is preceded in death by his parents William and Ethel Gray; one daughter, Lisa Dianne Gray and one sister, Sadie Varley.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda, Children, Frederick Hull, Mark Gray, Ralph Gray, Sue Thurber, and Kelly Gray, step-children, Dianne Horsley, Tressa Riggs, Patricia Jones, Christa Nelson, Ronald Jones and Carolyn Jones, siblings; Dorothy Woods, Carol Schmidt, Cathy Hooper, and Brenda Anthony, 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and other extended family.

Interment will be in the Cement Cemetery. Services are under the direction of McRay's Cyril Funeral Home.
