Edith M. [Bare] Goodson

Funeral for Edith M. [Goodson] Ezzell, 93, Cement, will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Cement with Richard Prather, Interim Pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Ezzell died Tuesday at her home after a long full life.

Burial will be in Cement Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Cement Chapel.

She was born April 11, 1917 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Earl F. and Anna B. [Sims] Bare.

She married Chester N. Goodson on October 24, 1935 in Arkansas City, Kansas. He died on June 28, 1968. She then married Abe Ezzell on September 18, 1969 in Fletcher. He died on June 15, 1976.

Although Mrs. Ezzell had at times worked outside of the home, her family was her life.

Survivors include three daughters, Madeline and her husband Carl Smith of Roseburg, Oregon, Earline Manning of Urich, Missouri and Pauline Smith of Cement; nineteen grandchildren; forty six great grandchildren; and forty five great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, two brothers, three sons, two sons in law, a granddaughter and a great grandson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cement Senior Citizen's Center, 323 N Main, Cement, OK 73017.
