Elvis Clark Cook

COOK FUNERAL SET SUNDAY; CEMENT CHURCH

Funeral rites for E.C. Cook, who died Thursday night at the home of his brother, C.B. Cook, north of Cement, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Cement cemetery, under direction of the Farmer Funeral home.

Survivors are one son, Al Cook, Oklahoma City; a daughter, Mrs. Vea Moody, Norfolk, Va.; three brothers, Vaughan Cook and Frank Cook, San Bernardino, Calif., and C.B. Cook, route two Anadarko; one sister, Miss Jewel Cook, San Bernardino, and one granddaughter.

Clifford B. Cook

Clifford B. Cook, a pioneer resident of Cement, died Tuesday, October 23, 1956 at 3:40 p.m. at his home there following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Christian Church at Cement.

Rev. Paul Wallace, pastor of the church, officiated at the service and the Anadarko Funeral Home was in charge of the burial at the IOOF cemetery at Cement.

Mr. Cook, a retired farmer, came to the Cement area when the country was first opened. He was born in Tennessee and was married to Miss Edna Parker in Springfield, Mo., January 3, 1915. He was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include the wife; a son, C. Phil Cook, and a granddaughter of Anadarko. Three children preceded him in death.
