Joel Reid Bolin

Funeral service for Joel Bolin, 52, Cement, will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Cyril with Reverend Randy Cocheran, officiating. Burial will follow at the Cement Cemetery under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home.

Mr. Bolin passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 at his home in Cement. He was 52 years and 6 days old.

Joel Reid Bolin was born September 9, 1960 in Cyril, OK to Thurman and Betty [Morris] Bolin.

Joel graduated from Cement High School in 1978 and married Debbie Cocheran in 1980. Together the two had 3 daughters. Joel was a man with a passion for cattle and spent many hours taking care of and training racehorses, his favorite being Billie Smooth. When you couldn't find Joel at the race tract or in the horse stables, you could find him working cattle or making money in the oilfields. Joel shared his love for horses and music with his daughters who grew up on a farm northwest of Cement. He had a wonderful sense of humor and brought smiles and joy to everyone he met and will be missed dearly!

He is survived by his 3 daughters: Kami Middleton, Jordan Landers, and Morgan Bolin all of Cyril; 4 grandchildren: Logan and Kylee Lawrence, Madyson Landers, and soon to arrive Londyn Middleton; 1 sister, Robbie Davis; 1 niece, Michelle Peterson and her husband Vern; 3 nephews: Destin and Shawn Bitsche and Deano Davis; 2 great nieces: Lexi Bitsche and Addisyn Peterson; 3 great nephews: Austin and Ryland Bitsche and Braedn Peterson; and many many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Betty Bolin.
